Dominical Fishing Costa Rica

The town is named for the native indians Dominical that inhabited the place in the colonial era. A picturesque town with a small bit of the colonial era wall left. Dominical offers fishing for numerous varieties of fish, especially Pacific Sailfish.  Dominical, Costa Rica has long held an international reputation as one of the hottest spots in the world for big game fishing. Dominical is a small city situated on the central Pacific coast.  It is directly south of San Jose approx. 3 hour drive by car.   Or a 20 minute flight. Dominical is the gateway to Manuel Antonio National Park. There are numerous bars and restaurants in the city, and a vivacious nightlife. Located fewer than 100 miles (160 km) from San José, on the Central Pacific coast of Costa Rica, are the very popular towns of Dominical and much smaller Manuel Antonio.
