departs from Punta Uvita at 7:00 AM
and arrives approximately at Cano
Island 1 ½ hours later. It is a

animals such as turtles and marine
birds. Arriving at the island we
take you to the healthiest coral
reefs for the best Costa Rica
snorkeling adventure where you can
observe a great variety of marine
species, many of which are in danger
of extinction. The full day tour
includes a picnic lunch and a guided
hike to the Cano Island
archaeological site where you will
be able to see remains of
pre-Columbian stone spheres and
pottery of the ancient Indians from
the Diquis valley that used the
Island as a cemetery. The boat tour
departs Cano Island around 3 PM and
arrives at Punta Uvita approximately
at 4:00 PM.
